"The Roo's"

The "Standard Roo" whips offered at Maloroy Whip Co. are crafted from the finest hides and are very unique. All kangaroo hides come from Packer Tannery. Only the finest hides are used to produce the best and most beautiful whips possible.

 Each whip is constructed starting with a cowhide strip core. Next, a belly of 4 strands is cut from a kangaroo hide and plaited around that core. A filler bolster is cut from kip skin and tightly bound around that belly. A second belly of 4 strands is cut from the hide and plaited around the whip. The final bolster is cut from kip skin and bound tightly around the whip. Then the final kangaroo overlay is cut and plaited using the best hide to produce a gorgeous and fine whip.
